Novogodisnji Bor /Gingerbread Little Trees

Sastojci

75 g maslaca

50 g secera

25 ml meda

150 g brasna

1 m.k mljevenog djumbira

1 m.k cimeta

mrvicu soli


Za dekoraciju


Priprema

Rastopiti maslac sa secerom i medom. Prosijati brasno, zacine sa sodom bikarbonom, pomesati suve sastojke sa mokrim, dodati jaje i zamesiti tjesto. Razviti ga na blago pobrasnjenoj radnoj povrsini, kalupom vaditi oblike stavljati u tepsiju koju smo oblozili papirom za pecenje. 


2. Keksice peci u zagrijanoj rerni na 160 C, 10-ak minuta ili kad rubovi pocnu tamniti. Kad su peceni ostaviti ih 5-10 minuta da se hladnu pa ih tek onda prebacite na zicu za hladjenje.


Savet

Iskoristiti ono malo tjesta sto ostane za male keksice.

Little Gingerbread Trees

 

Ingredients

75 g butter

50 g caster sugar

25 ml honey

150 g flour

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

pinch of salt

1 egg


Method

1. Melt the butter, sugar and honey in a pan over low heat. Sift the flour, ginger, cinnamon and bicarbonate of soda in a mixing bowl. Mix everything together, and add an egg to make a dough. Roll it out onto a lightly floured surface and use a tree cookie cutter to cut out the shapes. Place them on a prepared baking tray.


2. Preheat the oven to 160 C (fan). Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes. Leave them on the tray for 5-10 minutes, then put them on the wire rack to cool. Dust with icing sugar before serving.


Tip

You can use a small cookie cutter to use up all the dough.
