Pahuljasti keksic od kokosa /Coconut Delights

Ovaj recept je odlican nacin kako iskoristiti preostale belanjce. A sta napraviti sa zumanjcima provirite u moj jucerasnji recept Cokoladni Keksic sa Narandzom!



Sastojci

4 belanjca, srednja

150 g secera

200 g kokosa

Jos potrebno

40-50 g kokosa

(za valjanje kuglica )


Savet

Danas sam radila sa Phladelphia sirom, probala sam i sa Maskarponeom, jednako fino!


Priprema

1. Belanjca dobro izraditi pa postepeno dodavati secer. U cvrst sneg lagano umesati sir tome dodati kokos. Sve lagano izmesati, kasikom vaditi smesu i uz pomoc extra kokosa praviti male kuglice (oko 15g svaka).


2. Keksice stavljati na lim oblozem papirom za pecenje i peci u predhodno zagrijanoj rerni na 150C~fan, 10-15 minuta ili dok pocnu blago rumeniti sa strana (ali trebaju ostati svetle).


Posluživanje

Prohladjene spremiti u limene kutije i cuvati do nedelju dana.



Coconut Delights

 

This recipe is a great way of using up leftover egg whites. If you want a recipe for using up egg yolks, have a look at my Chocolate Orange Cookies!


Ingredients

4 egg whites, medium

150 g caster sugar

65 g cream cheese

200 g desiccated coconut

Also,40-50 g desiccated coconut for coating the cookies


Method

1. Mix the egg whites until soft peaks start to form, whilst adding sugar sparingly. Mix well until all the sugar dissolves, then gently mix in the cheese and coconut. 


2. Take some of the mixture and, using a tablespoon, make a small ball. Roll gently in extra coconut to make the balls more firm. 


3. Preheat the oven to 150 C~fan. Place the balls on prepared baking trays and bake for 10-15 minutes or until they begin to colour slightly — they should remain white. 


4. Cool on a wire rack before transferring to an airtight container. They will stay fresh for up to a week.
